It is very time consuming, to test this amount of settings in all different environments and times, but it's absolutely necessary if you want a great looking ENB. Messing everything up is VERY easy, trust me on this one. When playing around with the settings in one location, it might have unforeseen effects somewhere else, so it's a good idea to test ONE changes at a time, and in different environment. ENB contains a LOT of environmental settings, which all differ with time of day, location, time of year and different types of weather. If you want to play with the ENB setting yourself, you can do so by editing the 'enbseries.Ī word of advise before starting.
Proceed to Tweaks Time to correct the load-order. ENB will load automatically when Oblivion starts. If you a nVidia GeForce graphics card, but have less or more than 6GB, go to the Oblivion game folder, and open up the 'enblocal. If you have 6GB video memory, you don't need to change anything. The only thing you need to do, is indicating how much video memory ENB can use. When asked, overwrite any existing files. If you don't think the graphical improvements are worth the FPS drop, then you can disable the effects, and still get added stability without the performance decrease. I strongly recommend installing ENB anyway, even on low-end systems. It does however come with the cost of performance. ENB ads a lot of new effects to the game, and makes it more stable at the same time.
